Ok. So this summer I had the monumental project of retyping these:

They are two binders full of auto-biographies. There were actually about four. One binder was just one auto-biography, and the other one had three in it. My dad gave me the job, and I used it as my last Young Womens project. O.k. so the story behind these. My dad was given them to borrow from a family member. He had just built a new office, and thought..."what would be a better place to keep them than here?" so he set them on the ground in one of the secretaries offices. A few days later the office sprung a leak, and guess where?! Yup. right above these two enormous things! They were completely water damaged. So my dad felt bad having to return them to the relative in that shape. He asked me to do it for him and said he would pay for me to do it, but I wanted to use it as hours for a project.

Here is the finished product!

This shows the tops of the pages wrinkled from all the damage.

Here is just a picture of a page with pictures on it.

Here is one with words on it. The words were faiding a little bit, so I had to look sort of hard and use my "context" skills to figure out certain words.

Just another random picture of the books, and below is the size that they were when laying down.

Here is how thick it was when I was finished. I retyped it all, and then put every single page and picture back in a page protecter, and in these binders.

A picture of the NEWLY typed auto-biographies. This was a crazy long and hard project, and took a lot of effort and concentration but I got it finished! :D I was really proud of myself for doing it too! Well..Hope you enjoyed another random post!
