Cross Country!! :)

Alrighty then. So these past lots of weeks...I have been training with my team for cross country. We have (mostly) been working hard with the exception of a few girls (cough..cough..Janelle and Annaliese who QUIT!) We have been having early morning meets, which are AMAZING and I love them to death. We get to do the same amount of running that everyone else does for our meets, but we get to do them early in the morning when it feels AMAZING outside. I have been doing...o.k. Today we had a meet against the undefeated Stapley.....and Shephard and Smith. It was a hard race...every bit of the 2.2 miles. We got killed by Stapley...but what do you expect with pretty much all of our girls running while injured, and our number 2 girl quitting. BUT on a GREAT note CARYN SMITH got 1st PLACE over all!!!!!!!!! I was SO proud of that girl!!! :) She is SO amazing..and she deserved it WAY more than any of her (well..not really) competition. This sport is SO amazing, and surprisingly enough, I think I am pretty good at it! :) It takes a lot of dedication and commitment and...another slightly random fact...I ABSOLUTELY LOVE our coaches. they are SO cool and so understanding of us. WOW!!! I LOVE CROSS COUNTRY! Sorry for the random post again..but I just remembered about it.
