Thank you!

O.K., so I know this kinda wierd, but I really want to post about this. If you don't read it I won't be offended though. This year at Brimhall has been completely crazy, as some of you know. It has been hard with the work load, and there have been friendship problems, and there have been way too many fights to count. There have been MAJOR food fights, and lots of police. There has also been worse. Our school has had to endure the loss of two 9th graders. It has been SO horrible for the friends and family! I wasn't close to either of them. One of them was in my 1st hour photography class, and the other one I saw around school all the time. I know it is kinda wierd for me to post about them, when I didn't know them well, but today in Young Womens, after an amazing lesson on the temple, and after some of the conversations I've had with friends, it just seems so amazing to me, that they are with their Heavenly Father now. So, I want to bear my testimony to all of you that I am so thankful for the church, and the oppertunity I have to be a member of it! If I hadn't been adopted, I don't think I would have ever even met any of you, or become a member. I don't know where I would be without either of those things. I am so glad for the knowledge that we will get to go and see all of our family again. I know that it is true, and I hate watching the friends that are not LDS, that think that it is the end forever. That they will never see them agiain. It alwasys makes it hard for me to think, that that could have been me. I am so greatful for my parents who are always there for me. I am thankful for my mom, especially today on Mother's day. She is seriously like my best friend. I love her to death! I am so thankful that my dad is the Stake President! He is a great leader, and he has such a great spirit. I love hearing him speak from his heart. He is very centered around his family, and he loves my mom. He is everything that I am going to look for in my husband. He is hardworking, and he is a great dad and grandpa! I am thankful for all of my sisters, who talk to me when I need someone to talk to. They are always there. They are also great to go shopping with, because like our mom, they know how to find the bargins, that are still really cute! :) I am thankful for all my in-laws who treat my sisters, and brother, and their kids like royalty. I am thankful for my brothers. Yes, all 5 of them. Even though I may have a tough time getting along with a few of them sometimes. I am especially greatful for my little brother Parker who is an amazing example to me! He is almost always happy, and he has the most wonderful spirit with him all of the time. If you couldn't tell, I love my family tons! I am thankful for all of my friends, the really close ones, and the not so close ones. I love them all the same! I am thankful for the prophet and I know that he is on this Earth to lead and guide us in the right direction, so that we can go to live with Heavenly Father again. I am thankful for all of my blessings, and trials. I am thankful for the Book of Mormon, and the peace that it brings to my life. It seriously is the best book I have ever read! I am thankful for church, and all my leaders and teachers who spend so much time for us. I love my ward, and stake families. And I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
